In a nutshell, I'm a former CD turned lifestyle commercial director who helps brands and agencies tell relatable stories that drive business results. 

Having worked as an art director, writer and CD for global brands both in-house and at agencies over the past two decades, I bring a unique directorial perspective to the table. I understand the hours of research that goes into finding the right consumer insight, the countless number of ideas and revisions it takes to communicate that insight in a creative yet effective way and the number of people involved in reviewing and approving that idea and execution. I get it.

 

Because of this, I am able to pitch original ideas rooted in strategy or elevate an existing idea and skip straight to treatment development. My secret sauce is in the ability to create genuine feeling, human-centric stories that tap into everyday insights and universal truths - all while keeping the client’s business goals in mind. Whether that’s raising brand awareness, improving engagement, increasing the bottom line, or simply connecting with audiences on an emotional level, I’m here to help my clients get results. 

 

While I love surprises, there is no place for them on set. Through my own directing experience coupled with mentorship from notable directors like Tessa Blake, Mary Lou Bell and Jordan Brady, I’ve spent a lot of time defining my approach to working with actors and understanding their process in order to guarantee the desired performance. I’m also a great problem-solver and love collaborating with producers and crew to ensure we are creating the most efficient production plan so we can stay focused on what matters most - the creative.

 

I am just as invested in the post-process as I am the shoot. After all— post is where the idea comes to life and the smallest nuance or detail can make a big difference in how a spot feels. Whether it's providing notes, a director’s cut or overseeing the entire post-process, I am committed to helping the idea reach its full potential. I have extensive experience working with editors, colorists, musicians, sound designers and VFX artists to create a final product that is polished, well-paced and communicates the idea in the best way possible. 

 

On-set or off, I believe in leading with kindness and respect and always strive to create an inclusive, high-energy, atmosphere dedicated to delivering the best creative and getting you the biggest ROI possible.
